A seasoned online lottery player from Michigan recently tried the Jumanji Rush instant game. The 44-year-old Livingston County man was surprised to win a $100,000 prize.
The Michigan Lottery confirmed the win earlier this week. The winner chose to remain anonymous but said he plays the lottery frequently.
In an interview, the man said he initially thought he had won $100. Later, he realized the prize was actually $100,000. “It was quite the surprise,” he admitted.
He recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his six-figure prize. When asked about his plans, he said he intends to save the winnings.
The winner recalled playing Jumanji Rush late at night. “It’s pretty cool to win such a large prize, especially my first time playing that game!”
Michigan offers over 260 online instant games, allowing players to choose from tickets priced between $0.05 and $50. These games include Mega Millions, Powerball, Lotto 47, Fantasy 5, and Lucky for Life.
Since launching in 2014, more than 1 million players have registered for online games in Michigan. Jumanji Rush tickets range from $0.10 to $20, with a top prize of $200,000.
The odds of winning any prize in Jumanji Rush are 1 in 4.30. Players must be 18 or older to participate.
