Jackpocket has set a new personal record by selling its highest-value scratch ticket to date. A Massachusetts player won $4,000,000 playing the Monopoly Doubler game through the Jackpocket courier app. This win marks a significant milestone for the DraftKings-owned company.
While Jackpocket previously sold an $83.5 million ticket in Texas, that win sparked months of legal challenges due to backlash against courier services. Eventually, the state paid out the prize, but Jackpocket has since suspended operations there.
Jackpocket became part of DraftKings last year in a $750 million deal. DraftKings’ SVP of Lottery, Pete Sullivan, praised the milestone and highlighted customer enthusiasm for the scratch ticket feature. He said the platform offers a seamless way to play the lottery.
The winning ticket, purchased on August 12 for $10, beat odds of 1 in 3,780,000 to claim the top prize.
Jackpocket has been making waves nationwide. In January, a player used the platform to win a $112 million Mega Millions jackpot, further proving its growing presence in the lottery market.
